When I was a child, I heard a story. A little girl saw a butterfly cocoon in the garden. She was very excited. Every day she stared at the cocoon, expecting the little insect to break out of the cocoon and transform into a butterfly with beautiful wings! Day after day passed, the little girl couldn't wait any longer. Anxiously, she took a pair of scissors from home to cut open the cocoon so that the butterfly could come out quickly. The cocoon was cut open, and the immature butterfly died after struggling for a while. The little girl grieved. She thought she was helping the butterfly but in fact, she killed it.
We all are eager to see the final moment when things are completed: the moment when athletes cross the finish line and win, the moment our children graduate with glory, the moment when flowers bloom, etc., but what we do not understand is that “every flower blooms at its own time”.
